Euclid Avenue Stormwater Improvements Project

Background:
Parker is located along the Allegheny River at the fork of the Clarion and Allegheny Rivers. Close to major cities, Parker is approximately 90 miles north of Pittsburgh approximately 90 miles south of Erie.
The City of Parker contacted Senate Engineering Company for assistance with a water runoff problem in a municipal park area in the Euclid Avenue area. The park consisted of a parklet, ballfields and tennis courts. The City of Parker funded this project thorough the Community Development Program of Armstrong County.

Senate Engineering Company’s Responsibilities:
Senate aided the City of Parker by designing a new stormwater management system to replace their existing, failing system. Senate completed the initial survey of the site; contributed 100% of the CADD drawings required and conducted the construction inspection for the project.
The proposed project scope includes the installation of approximately 2,250 lineal feet of 24” HDPE storm pipe, approximately 60 lineal feet of 36” HDPE storm pipe, approximately two (2) Type M inlets, approximately three (3) manholes, approximately 220 lineal feet of grouted riprap channel, related appurtenances, and associated restoration.
This improvement project is currently underway in the City of Parker.
